Deleting your data

You can delete the data culture-watch holds for your account at any time, and disconnect any social account you connected (Instagram, TikTok). This page explains how.

Delete from inside lupa

Sign in at lupa.culture-watch.com, open Account settings, and choose Delete account. After a confirmation step, we:

• revoke and delete the access token for every connected account (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube);
• delete the platform data we pulled — your profile snapshots and post metrics;
• delete your conversation history with lupa;
• delete the working files a read was generated from;
• delete your request to join, if one is still on file;
• remove your name, email address, handles and profile details — including your archetype, market sentence and goals — and disable the account so it can no longer be signed into;
• sign you out everywhere.

What this step does not cover. Documents already delivered to you — a published First Read, a Positioning Brief — are kept, because our Terms say a delivered document stays yours when you close your account. If you want those removed as well, email privacy@culture-watch.com and say so — see Request deletion by email below.

Disconnect a single account

To revoke just one platform without deleting your account, open Account settings → Connected accounts and disconnect it. You can also remove the app from the platform directly — for Instagram, in Settings → Apps and websites.

If you can’t sign in, email privacy@culture-watch.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete your data. We complete verified requests within 30 days.

Export first, if you want

Before deleting, you can download everything we hold from Account settings → Export my data.
